Instruction for Authors
The online Journal Paradigms of Management, Economics and Law is a scholarly peer-reviewed journal. It publishes original articles, reviews, reports, communications and other research contributions in four issues per year. The Paradigms of Management, Economics and Law is indexed in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI) database and is taken into account when calculating the Scholars` Citation Index. Manuscripts for publication are accepted in in standard Russian, English, German or French. The publication is free of charge, the electronic issue of the Journal is sent to the author (s)` email address and is available online. Manuscripts are accepted continuously throughout the year and published in the received order.
Manuscript Submission Guidelines
1. All material to be considered for publication should be submitted to the editorial board via e-mail at paradigmy-vlgr@ranepa.ru. To submit a manuscript, please, send to the above address:
- a digital copy of the Manuscript in Word Document or RTF formats (*.rtf, *.doc.);
- the Author's Statement (containing a handwritten signature scanned in color mode);
- the Review of the scientific supervisor containing recommendation for publication (for postgraduate students and external doctorate students).
Submitting a manuscript, the author accepts an offer to grant the right to use the work in the Online Journal Paradigms of Management, Economics and Law (Acceptance of the Offer). There is no need to additionally sign the agreement and send it in electronic or paper formats.
The accompanying documents (the author's statement and the review of the scientific supervisor with recommendation) containing a handwritten signature scanned in color mode are to be sent together with the manuscript only via e-mail to the Editorial Board at paradigmy-vlgr@ranepa.ru. A hard copy of the manuscript is not required.
The files name sent by e-mail should match the author's last name, for example: Trump_manuscript, Trump_statement, Trump_review with recommendation. For manuscripts written in collaboration, the file with the manuscrip is named after the author, who is first in the list of authors, while the "author's statement" files are named by each author with their own last name.
2. The Editorial Board corresponds with authors only via the e-mail addresses specified in the submitted manuscript without intermediaries.
3. The submitted manuscrip must comply with the Journal's accepted formatting requirements.
4. Authors are responsible for the accuracy of references, facts, quotations, statistical data, proper and geographical names and other information provided in the manuscript. Authors are liable for provision in the manuscript of links to the websites banned in the Russian Federation, to any materials classified as extremist content, or foreign or international non-governmental organizations recognized as undesirable. In case of late detection of errors or inaccuracies in the already published article, the author is obliged to immediately notify the Editorial Board of the Journal so that a decision can be made on the possibility of making corrections to the manuscrip or its retraction from publication.
5. Full-text versions of published articles and their metadata (abstracts, keywords, information about author(s) in Russian and English are available in open access on Journal official website, in Scientific Electronic Library eLIBRARY.RU and in other archives.
6. The use of the Journal materials by third parties is regulated by the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license.
7. Manuscripts are reviewed by the members of the Editorial Board and invited experts. Based on the results of the review, the editor reserves the right to return to the authors any manuscript for substantive revision and resubmission. The editors do not disclose the names of reviewers neither do they engage in substantive polemics with authors. We use the automated plagiarism detection software " Антиплагиат-ВУЗ "; the acceptable percentage of the manuscript authenticity is at least 70%.
8. Priority publication rights are granted to researchers who are regular reviewers of manuscripts submitted to the journal.
Manuscript Formatting Instruction for Authors
Requirements for Manuscripts:
1. Text file – should be 0.5-1 typeset page or 20,000-40,000 characters including spaces in length.
2. Technical requirements for the text of the manuscript:
- Times New Roman font, 14 pt font size, 1.5 line spacing;
- A4 paper size with 2 cm for all margins, and 1.25 cm paragraph indentation;
- no more than one space between words, no spaces within a word, no separation with spaces of punctuation marks from the preceding word;
- no hyphenation in words;
- a distinction should be made between the use of dashes and hyphens in the text;
- Arial and other fonts can be used for isolated fragments of the text. A smaller font size is allowed for tables and auxiliary texts.
- Please, use the website https://www.translit.ru to transliterate into the Latin font the required parts of the text.
3. The submitted manuscript file should include:
- Universal Decimal Classification (UDC) (in Russian), title, the author`s full name, abstract (no more than 150-250 words), seven to nine keywords) in Russian and English (at the beginning of the manuscript);
- the author`s full name, affiliations, academic, scientific and pedagogic titles and detailed address of the institution with postal code, phone and e-mail address. Open Researcher and Contributor ID (ORCID) should be placed at the end of the manuscript in Russian and English.
4. The list of References should be located after the main text of the manuscrip in alphabetical order and numbered. Please, provide in-text citations using the following style: the ordinal number from the reference list and page in square brackets, for example [5, p. 12]. The reference list must contain citations of all used sources and cannot contain citations of sources which were not used. The recommended minimum reference list is at least five sources. Footnotes for bibliographic references should not be used. References in the Russian language titled "Список литературы" should be arranged in alphabetical order. The reference list in the Latin alphabet should be titled "References". In manuscrips in English, Russian-language source should be arranged in alphabetical order and formatted according to the following rules:
Authors (transliteration), article title in transliterated version [translation of article title into English in square brackets], name of Russian-language source (transliteration) [translation of source title into English – paraphrase], output data with designations in English. For transliteration from Cyrillic into Latin, we recommend using the automatic transliteration system on the website http://www.translit.ru
5. It is recommended to use the Manuscript template for MS Word and Reference template.
Steps to Publish a Manuscript in the Journal Paradigms of Management, Economics and Law
1. Once your submission materials have been prepared in accordance with these guidelines, please send the Manuscript, the Author's Statement, and the Review of the scientific supervisor containing recommendation for publication (for postgraduate students and external doctorate students) via e-mail at paradigmy-vlgr@ranepa.ru.
2. Preliminary review of the the received materials by the editorial board. If the manuscript is preliminary accepted, possible publication dates are agreed upon with the author, and the manuscript is registered for expert review.
3. Expert review of the manuscript by Referees. If there are comments from Referees, the manuscript with a referee report and recommendation is sent to the author for revision.
4. Revision of the manuscript by the author taking into account the referee report.
5. Evaluation of the Revisions made by the editorial board, final technical check of the manuscript. Making a decision on acceptance of the paper for publication, publication dates, informing the author.
6. The issue content formation.
7. Layout, preparation of the manuscript for publication by the publishing house staff.
8. Publication of the issue of the Jouranl on on the website (https://paradigmy34.ru/page/authors/). Indexing of the Issue in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI) databas on the platform of the Scientific Electronic Library eLIBRARY.RU.
Journal Profile
The Paradigms of Management, Economics and Law publishes original research papers containing results of fundamental and applied studies in the field of law, educational science, psychology, history, philosophy, cultural studies, philology, economics, management within the framework of the nomenclature of scientific specialties - 5. Social Sciences and Humanities.
Manuscript Title
- The title should be short, specific and informative.
- Only generally accepted abbreviations are accepted in the title.
- In the translation of the title, abstract and keywords into English neither transliterations from the Russian language (except for proper names), nor professional slang should be used.
Abstract
- The abstract should reflect the content of the manuscript giving the scope and emphasizing the main conclusions, results, or significance of the work described.
- The abstract should consist of the four main structural elements: Introduction, Methods, Main Part, Conclusion;
- The abstract should not contain complex formulations, repeat the title of the manuscript, be saturated with general words that do not reflect the essence of the study.
Key Words
Seven to nine keywords established in the field, reflecting the manuscript subject and its terminology. Initial letters of keywords are written in lowercase. The keywords will be used for indexing purposes.
The main text should be structured as follows:
- introduction. The relevance of the topic, the objectives of the work and adequate background, scientific novelty, theoretical and practical significance should be provided. of the study can also be indicated;
- methodology (materials and methods of research). This section characterizes the research materials, describes the sequence of its implementation, and substantiates the choice of the methods used;
- main part (analysis and/or synthesis, discussion). The main part of the manuscript should include: outcomes of the reseach, an expanded discussion (analysis and synthesis) built on theoretical and/or empirical material; arguments to reveal the problems under study and determine the ways to solve them is built; results obtained and their substantiated reliability. Other terminology can be used for the table of contents of this part of the work, but the main thing is that it is designated, in essence remains the main part and makes up at least 2/3 of the total volume of the manuscript. It is possible to divide the main text of the manuscript into thematic headings and subheadings.
- conclusion (results and findings). The systematized (classified) findings and research results presented in the conclusion should correlate with the goals and objectives of the study in the introduction.
Formulas, Tables, and Diagrams Guidelines
- images and illustrations should be included directly in the file you submit and also inserted separately as individual attachments. They should be at high resolution in *.jpeg or *.tif format, with an extension of at least 300 dpi.
- formulas, tables, diagrams should be designed using the standard toolbar.
- formulas containing special characters should be typed as a Microsoft Equation object ("Insert" - "Object"); each formula should be inserted as an independent object.
- tables should be inserted, not drawn from autoshape lines; columns and cells cannot be aligned with spaces or tabs.
- text enclosed in frames and other figures should be formatted as an inscription ("Insert" - "Inscription").
Notes, Acronyms
Notes are given page by page using numbered automatic footnotes. Font size 12, font Times New Roman, 1.0 line spacing. If the manuscript contains acronyms and other abbreviations, they should be deciphered: either in footnotes or as a separate list at the end of the manuscript.
